Henry Ford Redbud

In 1896, after experimenting for years in his leisure hours, he complete the construction of the first automobile, the Quadricycle, and in 1903, founded the Ford Motor Company. The Fords, great lovers of the outdoors, spared no expense in landscaping the extensive grounds that surrounded their home. Henry Ford understood the importance of trees to the environment and especially to birds. The Henry Ford Estate Redbud is one of the many trees that provide sanctuary today for the birds he so dearly loved. Your tree grew from a seed hand-picked from the Henry Ford Estate Redbud.
